Looking back at the reunion
Werenfridus is 75 years old and we celebrated! Not only with our current pupils and staff, but also with you: the former pupils and former colleagues. We organised a reunion at our school on Saturday 29 June 2024. It was a successful day with nothing but happy faces.
Take a look inside the old school
Former pupils Robin and Sam photographed the entire school with a 360-degree camera before the renovation started. Those images are now online, allowing you to walk through the old building one last time.
During the reunion, the guided tour was played in the theatre and QR codes were hung in various places. By scanning the QR code, you automatically ended up in that exact same spot in the building. As a result, the locker room was just the Bepstee again and the assembly hall the inner courtyard. Just like the old days!

Van Hoorn Zeggen was present during the reunion to make a segment about this celebration. Former pupils Joyce Beuken and Dion Swart have put together a lovely atmospheric impression of it.
They did a tour of the school to see what they still recognise from their own time at Werenfridus and interviewed several former pupils and former teachers. Joyce and Dion even took a peek in the staff room, the place you wouldn't just wander into as a pupil.
Werenfridus magazine
As a memento of 75 years of Werenfridus, teachers Jessica Penning and Pascal de Haas have compiled a school magazine. It features interviews, the history of the school magazine has been put on paper, there is a quiz with baby photos, and the editorial team has collected unforgettable quotes from The Harry. It has become delightful reading material for your summer holiday.
