Training
At Werenfridus, you can choose between HAVO, Atheneum, and Gymnasium. It's entirely up to you whether you want to do this in Dutch or bilingually. Especially if you are curious about the world around you, want to know a lot about it, and enjoy a challenge, then Werenfridus is the right place for you.
Directions
You can choose between the HAVO, Atheneum, and at our school. Gymnasium. We offer these specialisms in Dutch, or bilingually. You will then have some of your subjects taught in English. In addition to books, you will also work on the iPad, which will teach you to critically assess the information you find on the internet, among other things.
Here at school, you will learn to work independently, participate actively in lessons, and collaborate with fellow students. You will receive excellent guidance in this. Your mentor is always there for you and will help you, for example, with choosing your profile and selecting further education, together with the careers advisor.
Honours Programme
If the regular curriculum isn't enough for you, and you can and want to take on more challenges, you can join the Honours Programme. This offers motivated students a wide range of opportunities to enrich and broaden their horizons, or to accelerate their studies.
This is how you can complete a subject at VWO level as a HAVO student. As a VWO student, it is possible to obtain your diploma in just five years, or to take exams in four profiles. You can take extra subjects, but entirely custom options are also possible. For example, you could start further education early.
