We operate on a 50-minute timetable. The first lesson starts at 08:30. If you wish to enter a lesson after the bell has rung, you must first collect a ‘late slip’ from reception. You must then report to reception half an hour before the start of your first lesson the following day. For other bell times, there is a maximum grace period of 5 minutes. It is up to the teacher to then decide when a student is late. This can also be the case within the 5-minute grace period.

When are we running a forty-minute timetable?
- October: 20th and 22nd October 2026

- March: 8 to 12 March 2027
- 6 April and 8 April 2027
- June: 3rd and 8th June 2027

Professional development, study and non-teaching days
To provide colleagues with the opportunity to work on training and professionalisation, time has been made in the annual schedule. During these times, the pupils have timetable-free days. No lessons will be scheduled according to the timetable on these occasions. However, it may still happen that classes, groups or individual pupils have to come to school for an assignment or an activity. Teachers will communicate this in good time.
It concerns the following dates:
- 17 August – study day – no classes all day
- 29th October – study day – no classes all day
- 3 November – lessons cancelled for all pupils after period 5, excl. 4 (t)havo and 5 (t)vwo due to careers fair
- 12 November – development afternoon – timetable-free from period five
- 15 December – lessons cancelled in the afternoon after the Charity Day
- 13th January – study afternoon – no classes after 12:30 pm
- 20 January – development day – timetable-free all day
- 27 January - professional development day - day off timetable
- 8 February – development morning – timetable-free up to the fourth lesson
- 19 February – spring half-term – no classes all day (early spring half-term)
- 18 March – development morning – timetable-free up to the fourth lesson
- 23 March – study day – no classes all day
- 22 April – lessons cancelled from period six for non-exam students
- 23 April – timetable-free all day for exam students
- 14 June – study afternoon – timetable-free from period five
- 18 June free from the fifth lesson onwards due to a staff activity
- 1 and 2 July – no lessons all day due to transition meetings
- 5, 8 and 9 July – no classes all day due to end of school year
