Information evening for grammar school
The teachers of classical languages from Martinuscollege, OSG, and Werenfridus are jointly organising an online information evening about the gymnasium on 12 January 2026. Would you like to know more about the gymnasium? You are most welcome!
The evening begins at 19.00 with a general explanation, followed by presentations from a few grammar school pupils from the three schools. Finally, there will be an opportunity to ask questions to grammar school pupils, teachers, or school leaders.
That's why you choose Werenfridus
- With a VWO recommendation, you can also choose Gymnasium.
- You can choose from bilingual or Dutch-language HAVO, Atheneum, and Gymnasium.
- You are being trained to be a socially engaged, independent, and motivated citizen.
- You are allowed to be yourself at Werenfridus. You are seen and really listened to.
- You gain insight into your own learning process, which encourages you to make your own choices.
- You take special subjects such as V-media and world citizenship in the lower secondary school.
- In the upper school, you can choose from the following optional subjects: philosophy, performing arts (drama), visual arts, BSM (Movement, Sport & Society), social sciences, mathematics D and computer science.
- As an elite athlete, you'll have the opportunity to combine school and sport, because Werenfridus is a Sports Talent School.
- You come to our theatre for educational performances, and the theatre is also used for drama classes.
- You can do sports during the PE and BSM lessons in one of our four modern gymnasiums or on the large sports field on our own grounds.
